In May we had the opportunity to film our patient Jason Minzey's story.Jason came to Bremer after being told that it would take him 6 months to get into another office, to begin an evaluation for his amputation. Jason knew what he needed to get his life back, and he knew he needed it soon with a prosthetist behind him that would help him get back on his feet once he's recovered from his surgery.After two years of working together after his surgery, Jason moved to South Carolina and has struggled to find patient care quiet like Nate's anywhere else.Jason drove back up to Michigan for a week long appointment, and we were able to complete his second definitive prosthesis for him.Our reason for filming Jason's story is because there are amputees all over who are struggling to find prosthetists that listen to their needs and deliver them prostheses that are not only comfortable but functional for their every day lifestyles.
